699 Prince Street, Alexandria Virginia

Originally constructed in 1925 as the George Mason Hotel, it continued operations as a hotel until 1972. Subsequently it was converted to an office building in 1998 and has been operating as such ever since. Potomac Investment Properties and its partner acquired this historic property in March 2018 and received entitlement approvals to convert the building back to its original use, as a boutique hotel. The 138-key independent hotel will feature an inviting ground floor restaurant, a gym, library, meeting space and ballroom. Anticipated delivery in 2020.
